...I dropped another large wad of cash on books today. I'm rathermuch out of shelf space again.

Also, it is always a great day when my mother and I agree on something. Today, I discovered that we share a dislike of Keira Knightly (in period movies, that is.) I still can't get her to understand, though, why Joel Schumacher's Phantom of the Opera sends me into a foaming rage. The larger context of this conversation is that I recently purchased The Duchess on DVD, but I haven't watched it yet 'cause I'm waiting for Andrew to get back from Vegas so we can watch it together. We got onto that conversation because I was mentioning my love of all things 18th century when I explained the story behind the color name "puce" when we were in Victoria's Secret and my sister was pointing to a bra and was all, "This is such a cute color!" and I was like, "It's puce!" and she was "It's purple!" and I'm like, "It's puce." and my mom's like, "I'd have called it 'mauve'." and I'm like, "It's definitely puce."

Um, I also got a dress today from Maurice's and they have the most gorgeous (oh-so-Rococo!!) fitting rooms! I wish I'd had my camera! D:
