Black Dog o4

Transcript:
Full page spread. View from behind the Makeshift Man, just slightly angled so we can still see a partial profile from around the chair. The open cooler sits in the foreground. The entire frame beyond where the Makeshift Man sits is filled with a large supernatural creature: the way-watcher. Even hunched over as it is, it doesn't completely fit into the frame. It is a gray or black color, with a shaggy red mane. Its large, long head rests on a thick neck that travels up into a hunch. Its shoulders reach almost as high. The way-watcher's face has deep eye-sockets framing large, round, pale eyes with horizontal pupils. Its red nostrils extend into something like whiskers. Its large yellow teeth and exposed gums stick out beyond red lips, which are pulled into what looks like a grin. The way-watcher stares directly into the Makeshift Man's face.
Internal dialogue: "It’s gonna be one of those days."
