In other news...I think my sister (the up-and-coming nurse) was overreacting a little bit in taking me to the hospital on Friday. (I was protesting at the time, but she was telling me not to underestimate my pain, and she's a handful to argue with.) At the hospital, she let me blather on about how I like sharks, though. And she let me start telling her a story about a fishmonger who was turned into an armadillo by an angry magician, and a princess falls in love with him...

In other, other news...today, the front fender fell off my car. I have it kinda held back on with duct tape, which was tricky to get on because of the pouring gray rain which has gone a'slopping over the Red River Valley. The worst part of this, though...rain brings worms. Big ones. Pinky-white, shiny and wet, squirming blindly towards me on the puddled asphalt while I tried to work.
...Have I ever mentioned that I have something of a phobia of annelids? Ye gods, it was a nightmare.

This has been a hard week, so far. :B
